“We closed our interview with Segura giving us three tips for entrepreneurs:
Be passionate: A lot of entrepreneurs are starting companies because they have that zeal, but what we have to remember is that we have to choose something that we’re passionate about. For Segura, he created Giant Media because he was was passionate about online video, but also to help minimize the intimidation it posed.
Choose something efficient: When you’re starting something in the early stages, you should focus on what makes you more efficient and what makes your business scalable rather than less so.
Have some degree of humility: The “Lone Ranger” model doesn’t work. You have a lot of partnerships and stakeholders who have been helping you out, you need to recognize them.”
