PopFab

via Txch Today:

A pair of MIT students have taken the next step in 3D printing: portability. Most 3D printers are too large to easily carry along – averaging the size of a kitchen table – but the students’ “PopFab” can easily fit into a standard metal suitcase. The video shows the students quickly and easily setting up the printer and using it to create a small plastic fish.
